Lenses

Single Vision lenses offer enhanced vision for those that struggle with either long distance or near vision.

Using the terms 'Distance glasses' or 'Reading Glasses'. You prescription may only need slight correction in one field of vision - therefore you would only need one pair of glasses.

What are Varifocal Glasses?

Varifocal glasses have advanced digital lenses that help correct your vision at all distances. The lenses do not have any visible lines on them. This means you will not see any change to the lenses when viewing you different focal points.

They  are made for complete distance and reading prescriptions. Therefore, there is no need to carry two pairs of glasses.

Some people may find it easier with a varifocal in day to day life than others.

Varifocals have an invisible transition Between the lenses. There are three parts as shown in the image above. Distance at the top, Intermediate in the middle and Near at the bottom. We carry different ranges that makes the vision wider/shorter  in the intermediate/soft focus area. - We carry the -

- Essential Varifocal for easy adaption, displaying the standard design of varifocal.

- Premium Varifocal for a wider viewing area and clearer vision (digital freeform).

- Elite Varifocal for the widest viewing pleasure  with the clearest vision. (digital freeform)

As we care about our customers we  we may advise you for which varifocal we would think would benefit you the most.

WHAT ARE BIFOCALS?

Like the varifocal, these lenses correct vision at all distances. Preferably for those who struggle with short sightedness and long sightedness. Bifocals are recommended to those who struggle with their distance and near vision.

They're ideal for those that are reaching a certain age range and are experiencing vision changes.

We carry D segment Bifocals. These are the easiest lenses to adapt to. They are formed in a D shape (Flat Top) near the bottom of the lenses. This segment will correct you near vision.  Bifocals allow you to use one pair of spec to see at a distance and close up - and unfortunately our eyesight does decline as we get older. Our eyes lenses becomes less flexible so you may require a new prescription.
